How Belaroq researches, reviews, and corrects content.
Useful jewelry guidance should show where facts come from, distinguish education from sales, and be updated when product records, laboratory services, or policies change. This policy explains the standard we apply.
Effective and last reviewed: July 18, 2026
1. Scope and Commercial Context
This policy applies to Belaroq buying guides, diamond education, process explanations, product-support articles, policy summaries, and other informational website content. Legal terms, privacy notices, and order-specific records may follow separate approval processes.
Belaroq is a jewelry seller, and much of our content explains or supports products and services we offer. It should not be treated as independent journalism or personalized legal, financial, valuation, insurance, or gemological advice. Commercial relevance does not remove our obligation to make factual claims clear and supportable.
2. Source Priority
Writers and reviewers should use the most direct, current, and relevant source reasonably available. Our normal source order is:
- Belaroq product records, confirmed order specifications, production documents, issued reports, and approved policies for statements about our own products or service.
- Primary sources such as an official grading laboratory, government authority, standards body, payment provider, carrier, or manufacturer for external technical or operational claims.
- Recognized educational institutions and peer-reviewed or specialist references where no suitable primary source answers the question.
- Reputable secondary sources for context, never as a substitute for a readily available controlling source.
3. Drafting and Attribution
Content is prepared from an editorial brief that identifies the reader's question, the claims that require evidence, the relevant Belaroq process, and the sources consulted. Material facts should be paraphrased accurately; short quotations, images, and third-party marks must be attributed and used within applicable permissions.
We distinguish observed facts, third-party report results, Belaroq policy, estimates, and editorial judgment. We do not manufacture customer experiences, reviewer credentials, laboratory results, testing data, sustainability claims, or professional endorsements.
4. Human and Subject-Matter Review
A responsible Belaroq reviewer checks material content before publication. The reviewer should have operational responsibility or relevant familiarity with the subject, such as product data, jewelry production, customer care, fulfillment, payments, privacy, or website operations.
A Belaroq review is not described as an independent gemologist, legal review, medical review, or other licensed professional review unless a specifically qualified person actually performed that review and the page identifies the basis. Third-party laboratory findings are attributed to the issuing laboratory rather than presented as Belaroq's own grading conclusion.
5. Product, Price, and Availability Content
Product facts should be reconciled to the current catalog record and, for a particular order, to its confirmed specification. Carat weights, dimensions, color appearance, and handcrafted details may include disclosed approximations or tolerances. A general guide must not override an order document.
Prices, service availability, production timing, shipping estimates, certificate eligibility, and promotions can change. Date-sensitive pages should include a review date and avoid guarantees that are not supported by the current operating process.
6. AI-Assisted Editorial Work
Belaroq may use generative AI to help outline, translate, summarize, compare drafts, organize product data, or identify questions that require further research. AI output is a working input, not a source of authority.
Material AI-assisted content must receive human review before publication. Names, dates, technical claims, policies, citations, prices, and product specifications should be checked against reliable records. We do not knowingly publish invented citations, testimonials, credentials, or test results.
7. Updates and Corrections
Pages are reviewed when a linked product process, policy, source, or external standard materially changes, and otherwise according to editorial priority. A displayed review date means the page was checked; it does not mean every linked external page will remain unchanged after that date.
Clear spelling or formatting errors may be fixed without a correction note. A material correction should update the affected statement and review date; when context requires, we may add an explanatory note. Content that cannot be supported or updated responsibly may be removed, redirected, or marked as archived.
8. External Links, Conflicts, and Feedback
An external link helps readers inspect a source; it does not imply that Belaroq controls or endorses all content on that site. We may update or remove links that become unavailable, insecure, misleading, or unrelated.
Questions and correction evidence can be sent to support@belaroq.com. Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue. We do not promise to adopt every requested change, but we do commit to assessing credible evidence against the best available source.
